River of Võhandu

The upper course of the river is with calm flow, though from Paidra to Reo the central course of the river is with faster flow.

The longest river of Estonia is bordered with beautiful sand outcrops i.e. walls (see the chart). There are many milldams alongside the river that are depending on the season penetrable also with a canoe. Passable as with a rubber boat as well as with a canoe.

Excitement is added to the camp by the milldams, some of which can be descended. Water lilies in quieter sheets and steel cold spring with wonderful healthy impact flowing out from caves add the sense of romance.

Suitable river as for one-day as for many day trip
